UK Stampers postcard swap

I am always in awe of regular bloggers who can come up with original titles for their posts, sadly I don’t number amongst them!

Over on UK Stampers Sam has set an open theme for our monthly postcard swap. Recently I received, from a very kind friend, a large envelope stuffed full of stamps so some of these had to be used to make my postcard, however few of the stamps came with their original packaging and my friend has no idea who manufactured many of them. So does anyone recognise the little birds and corner flourish? The centre birds do now have a name but the parrot and flourish are still anonymous.

The shadow stamps are hand made using dies to cut out funky foam and inked up with Versamagic, the birds, flourish and saying were stamped using Versafine Onyx Black. The squiggle around the edges is so obviously hand “drawn” with a fine (0.5) black Letraset pen !

Hope someone can name those stamps.

Thank you for looking x

Hi Lynn, I have a paper pad with the same parrot images, it’s by Papermania and the set is called Birdsong. Can’t help you with the flourish.

    Janine xx
