Postcard
Over at UK Stampers the theme for February’s postcard is a song title or lyrics; I almost forgot this swap as we were having our bathroom done – it was totally gutted but is now, after a week, fully operational again! So having to contend with the plumber coming and going plus one mischievous puppy the swap flew out of my head.
I chose ‘Tea for Two’ for my theme, a very old song but I had been given some stamps of teapot and cups so now was the time to ink them up.
I have no idea who is the maker of these stamps. The text background and teabag stamp is from the Scene-velopes set. The ‘table’ is created by die cutting a piece of funky foam and inking up with Distress ink Vintage photo and stamping it in place after masking the teapot and cups.
Materials:
Inks – Distress Inks Vintage Photo; Fossilised Amber; Peacock Feathers.
Archival Jet Black
Stamps – Scene-velopes
Die cut oval shape
Computer generated text.
